Arrow problems maybe?

i know this is bad to say but for years my temp guage hasn't worked. but the other day out of the blue it decided to work. only it sky rocketed as if it were over heating but i had just cranked it up.

i dont know if that means anything but roughly the same time one of my rotors seems to be mis fireing. i have a completly seperate dual exaust so i can tell its just one rotor.

i figured its time to change out my spark plugs but i wanted to check with you guys to see if this is all related or just coincedence. please and thank you for any advise

The two issues are unrelated.
Your gauge has a wiring issue, the sending unit wiring is grounding out somewhere and causing the gauge to spike.

No idea about the misfire.
