Problems after problems
So I posted a thread earlier about my gears being fucked up, about how I can get into 2nd - 5th no problem but 1st gear i literally have to shove in to, and reverse just grinding hell to the point I can't even get into reverse.
But today I think I found out the problem. I took out my slave cyl to see if it was the actual problem. I was pushing on the rubber piece of the slave cyl and I realized that the fluid was just leaking out from the side, dripping all over my goddamn car. Even worse, when I decided to stick it back in bolt it down so I can at least get to work today, the clutch pedal completely decided to jump to the ground and stay.
So does that mean I'll have to replace both my slave and master cyl?

Possibly. Where's the leak coming from? I'm guessing the clutch line?
If that's the case, you can probably get away with just a new line. Although, if the slave & master are getting up there in age, you might just replace one or both at the same time. I think all three will cost you around $80 or so.

If the rubber dust cover over the slave cylinder rod has fluid trapped in it..............the slave is kaput. Buy another slave. There should be no fluid outside of the cylinder. None at all.
