Ok So I went to look at an 87 gxl today, the car has a hesitation after 4500 rpms, the car go good till that point and after that it sputters lke it looses fuel and then gets it and then it dont, does any one know what this might be, I might buy the car but I dont want to if Im going ot have to do major service right off the bat you know.

the guy told me it was probly bad injectors or fuel pump, but to mee it seems like the secondaries or not kicking in, but who knows I jsut want some input can you guys provide info, thanks.

ps. car runs good up till that point, but it idles high 1500 to 2000, probly becuese it hadnt been started in a week.

Probably because they aren't. It's probably a grounding issue. Search for 3800 RPM hesitation.
