Problematic vibration from trans tunnel...

So it's been about 570 miles since my new clutch was put in and ever since then ive had a really bad vibration sourcing from my transmission tunnel in high RPMs (specifically 5500-7000). It's even worse in second gear since my shift **** actually pooped off from the vibration. And i can feel it in my seat. I feel like its going to tear the whole car apart but my passengers say they dont even notice it

Its got me very worried about if it will continue on and make me not able to perform in autocross in a few months or could it be as simple as dropping the trans and trying to re-bolt the flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate?

If anyone could help or offer clues as to what it might be i would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

Failing U-joints in the driveshaft can cause horrific vibrations. Since you say it happened ever since your clutch was put in, you may need to take a look at that as well.

Its always a rule of thumb for me to start looking where it was last touched especially if it was recent.
