problem when idling

When i started my car a few days ago, in about 5 mins it would reach 2200-2500 rpm while idling. That's when the beeping started. I just turned the car off and back on - beep is gone. And another time before, I tried driving and it stopped right after I pulled out of the garage. My temp stayed normal until recently. I did some searching, so far I'm assuming this has something to do with a speed sensor. But the temp as never risen this high before at idle, especially when my thermostat was recently replaced with a new one. Do you guys know what's wrong with it or why? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx

oh, there's a video i did with my phone kinda poor quallity... but heres a link
