thanks for checking this out anyone who opens this-

my '88 rx7 gxl has trouble cold starting sometimes, like ill walk out to it and it will crank right up every morning but after 3-4 hours ill try again and it acts like its flooded, but i dont press the gas, so after push starting it will crank right up again, i dont know what the problem is, so if anyone can help me its greatly appriciated. also my sunroof wont open the motor in it is going but it wont actually open. any help/tips are greatly appriciated, thx.

to fix your problem...
1. disconnect battery
2. install new engine


*or might be injectors...*

how much miles do you have - do a compression check

 

It probably is flooding. More than likely a combo of low compression/bad plugs/dirty injectors.

 

same problem than me . the problem in my case:
injector dont hold gaz
get out injector,and test flow

i rebuilt my 4 injector,and this problem never recome .
cost in my case, 20$ for the test flow
20$ for rebuilding each injector.

for the thifties who can't afford down time or injector cleaning, redline fuel system cleaner seams to work pretty well.
