Question Problem running stock gauges off my microtech

I just had a bunch of work done to my car including a Microtech LT-8s and the shop told me that they couldn’t get my stock boost, fuel and temp gauges to work. Has anybody had this same kind of problem running a stand alone?

Can anybody please help me figure out how to rewire those 3 gauges or have any info on the master electronics board on the back side of the gauge cluster? If you know how the Microtech should be wired in the first place that may help as well. GUYS any help here would be really appreciated.

The car is an 89 TII if that helps any.

The boost gauge is the only one run by the ECU, but this doesn't matter because if you need a standalone the last thing you should be looking at is the stock boost gauge. You should only be using an aftermarket one.

The coolant temp gauge isn't run by the ECU but the wite for the sensor was in the now-removed emissions harness. You need to run a new wire from the small temp sensor under the oil filter to the yellow/white wire on connector X-11 in the passenger's footwell.

The fuel gauge has nothing to do with the ECU at all. The installer has possibly messed up the level sender wiring when wiring up the fuel pump.

S5 wiring diagrams are here:

Oops, brain fart. It's run by the MAP sensor, not the ECU...
