problem ridding oil injection

ok so i want to go premix... replaced oil injectors with bolts... made custom plate and about to bolt it back on... and guess what? one of the bolts broke off when i put it back on!! ok ok... no biggie... just need EZ-Out to do the job... but guess what again?? now i have a broken bolt with a broken ez-out in it!

so now i'm thinking of just JB Welding the plate on and use a nut/bolt on the remaining hole to hold the plate... would JB Weld be strong enough to stick the plate on??

(yeah i know... it's not the correct way to solve this but... i've tried drilling, drill some more, and even beg it to come out... no luck... unless anyone has any other ideas... and replace the whole front cover is NOT an option at this time)

anyone else know if JB Weld is strong enough to hold the plate on?

I'd be wary about the JB. I'm thinking about what should be a small oil feed hole that should have some pressure on it that feeds the oil metering pump. Seventy or so psi. I'm too lazy to go look at a front cover but there has to be a feed hole there and it has the same psi as the rest of the engine.

Yeah, I'd get the bolt out. I assume you've pulled the other two bolts, removed the blockoff plate, and used a pair of vicegrips on the stub of the bolt remaining?

the remaining bolt is pretty much burried in the hole... so basically there's nothing to grip onto to take out the bolt... i am worried about the oil pressure also...

wonder if i can just weld a plate onto where the OMP is... i heard something about welding makes metal weaker...

Final option, drill out the bolt, get a helicoil setup, and put a new bolt in.. Hell, I think one of my OMP bolts is helicoiled too
