a problem ... help
anyhow i've been really interested in the FC. The problem is that it's really hard to find parts. I live in Souther California.. is there any place where i can find parts ... i mean if you like have a honda .. parts are all over the place... but for the FC.... i 've heard that' it's a pain to get parts.
btw.. i don't have a car yet.. well i have a car but not a FC...

I live about 400 miles from the closest thing resembling any car company that knows what a rx7 is, and I can get parts easily! (I'm currently in Michigan btw, not in boston)

Almost all Mazda Dealers will have OEM parts (but don't ever take your Mazda into John Hine Mazda in San Diego for work to be done- they will f%# up your car- I can say that from personal experience.
In fact in general you want to avoid Mazda dealers to work on your Mazda- but that is another story.
On-line OEM parts Mazdatrix (Mazdatrix.com) is probably the best and has bent over backwards whenever I have needed anything or to take care of me.
For Jspec parts and many aftermarket parts Corksport is also good, but they have fewer true OEM parts. There are others that specialize in rebuilt motors (like Kevin of RotaryResurrection.com) or people like myself (www.mazdamark.com) and fc3s.org that rebuild wiper switchs and other electronics for the FC.
In addition some of the parts for other Mazda's fit the FC, many parts that fit on the Miata are interchangeable with the FC and FD as well as simple tune up things like a generic O2 sensor or clutch master cyl an be found at most auto parts stores.
Plus, there is always someone parting out a FC. When ever I need parts I just post an WTB ad in the For sale/wanted section of this board and always get at least a half dozen responses.

If you have a problem at some point there is always fellow forum members who have a replacement part (used) but in great working order. I've been caught in a jam a few times for a rare part and managed to snag a replacement from another member for a very reasonable price.
Everyone on the forum is a parts-monger to some extent.
