Problem with Fuel Pump? Regulator?

So I have an aftermarket bosch pump, I believe it is a 255gph, and it is now tweaking out on me. Usually when the pump is on, it had a solid "buzz" to it. Now there is a "click, click, click, etc" noise coming from it while it still "buzz's".

I first called my friend, who has years over me with rotary knowledge, and he tells me that it sounds pretty normal to him. Then tells me that his GSL-SE does the exact same thing. Hmm

Anyways, so I move on and try to adjust the FPR I bought from ebay, god it sucks but it will have to do and I'm hoping I installed it correctly. I have the ignition in the "ON" position and the pump stays on while I try to adjust the PSI. I've read that with the vacuum blocked off, it should read ~40PSI and with the vacuum line connected it should drop to ~32PSI. Well the FPR would usually read about ~35PSI but occasionally it would just jump to like 70PSI. Then occasionally it would drop back to ~35PSI and I cannot adjust it at all. So I'm pretty sure my FPR is CRAP!!!!! But I can't afford to buy another one at this time so it HAS TO WORK. Well I'm worried about the jump in fuel pressure so I grabbed both the "IN" and "OUT" fuel line and I feel pressure in them both so I know even with the "click" fuel is still circulating through the system.

After having the pump run for a bit, longer than I've had it on while the car wasn't running, and the "click" noise just vanishes. Odd.. So now the pump sounds like how it usually does. Then I hear this hissing sound, as if there is a vacuum leak or fuel leak from the fuel line. I look around while it is making the hiss, no fuel dripping or spraying and I can't feel any air coming out. Then just like the pump, the sound goes away. Now everything sounds like how it usually does.

So I finally get the car to start and it idles at 1k, with some smoke out the back.
*Note that the car didn't sound anywhere near as close to starting when the pump was clicking as compared to it just buzzing.*
After letting it sit for awhile, the smoke never ends and if I rev it a bit... Huge smoke clouds form, and so I shut her down. Try and start it again after 10-15 minutes and it starts and will only stay running if I give it gas. While I give it gas, **** loads of smoke comes out the exhaust, but if I leave it alone it just dies. WEAK! Let it sit while I smash my head on the steering wheel.

Then when I try to start her again, the fuel pump starts making the ******* "clicking" sound again. This time the 10A inline fuse pops for the 1st time ever and the pump is no longer running. Okay, I assume that maybe it was just the fuse's time to go right?... Nah. I replace the fuse and the pump turns on again but still clicking. Then poof, the fuse pops again. I now start thinking, maybe I popped some other fuse in the main fuse box, Nope.

The car wont start anymore and I'm wondering if the clicking noise is just the pump's way of saying "See-Ya!", if it is indeed normal, or is there anything I'm over-looking?
