Problem: Car warms up then crapz out....

Everytime I take the 7 out....I drive it around the block a bit spirited, then as the car heats up it craps out....problem: right before boost the car seems to not give fuel or restrict giving the motor fuel...as I press the gas it starts to reach boost then craps out....you can hear the turbo spool right after the car starts to stall or pulsate.........probably irrelevant to problem, but I've replaced:
oil
oil filter
fuel filter
drained and replaced radiator fluid
installed a Koyo rad
electric fan
spark plugs
MSD wires
changed out igniter/trailing/leading coils

it seems only when the car warms up it starts to pulsate or fuel starvation, note to add everytime I reset ECU car works fine until it heats up...I'm also assuming it might be a bad AFM <just a thought> or something reading bad and ECU responding to fix it.....I'm in the process of installing gauges as dash, gauge cluster has been gutted......

things I'm thinking to do:
replace thermostat or do thermostat mod
replace pulleys, more efficient cooling with larger pump pulley
upgrade to FMIC

any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated

I'm not too familiar with the turbo mechaincs compared to the N/A, but I was having the same problem, and realised that a vacuum tube leading to the advanced warm-up solenoid was fractured and had to be replaced. wasn't too bad replacing on the N/A, but no clue how much of a bitch it would be on the turbo.

Being that it is a S5, does the check engine light come on? If so, it may be the OMP that is bad. Those tend to run well at low rpm, but poorly at higher rpm if it is bad. That is the "limp mode" for that situation so it will not allow the engine to be damaged. Check the error codes in the ECU to see what the problem is :-)

Good luck!
