Problem with brake lamp light please help

Ok heres the deal. my cars idiot <stop> lamp light came on but all of the
lights work in the rear. the middle (above the licence plate light) is
always on as well (dont remember if its suposed to be). the license plate
lights get brighter with the brake lamps when t he brake is pushed.
another possible symptom may be when i start the car up all of the lights
on the idiot cluster blink in unison with a clicking noise in the
buzzer/relay cpu next to the fuse block. any suggestions as to where to
start looking? im all ears =)

TIA

Bill

Although you've fixed the problem, you should know that that light also indicates your brake fluid is low. Sounds like you didn't check that!
