Problem with after market radio instalation

i got a new radio for the car. Problem is this. I wired all teh colors of the radio to the corrasponding colors in the car. Minus the orange one for illumination. The radio lights up but i cant get it to show the stations or what mode im in (cd/radio/fm/am ect.) Am i missing something. Am i not supposted to match the colors for the radio to the colors of the cars?

No, you don't just match the colors. I don't think the colors on my headunit were anywhere close to matching the car. The FAQ on this site tells you what all the wires on the car are. The documentation that came with your head unit (it was even printed on a sticker on my head unit) will tell you which wires correspond.

They all match up though. I have a kit that you attack to those wires and makes them corrospond to aftermarket radios. I went and got it tested and they said one of my fuses isnt putting out enough power.
