Does anyone know what it might be??? I connected the ground 2 ways... one with the original cable and the other to the chasis and nothing... Neg runs to a chassis ground on the left strut tower (hidden beneath all the tape), and on to the end terminal at the upper starter bolt (unless the terminal has previously been moved during a clutch change,etc...)

yeh, that bolt IS the ground! While you're there, clean up the area down to bare metal under the terminal that's bolted down, and you'll get a much better ground than that bolt threads/nutplate combo...

found out what happend.... I never connected the small possitive wire to the terminal.... I only connected the large one.... I thought that the small one was only for the starter and since I had the engine out I didnt even use it.... Thanks for all your help... I thought that it was a way bigger problem....
