Arrow probably gonna pick up 2 fc's

found out my cousin (whom i havent seen in ages) is selling 2 fc's, one which i believe is an 88 is running/drivable. the other i think is a 90 which was going to be used as a parts car. he says they are in decent shape, which is to be determined once i receive some pics.

i plan to keep one and part out the other tho my brother has shown some interest in maybe getting the other. i hope to get more details in the next day or two. i dont know anything about fc's, so im just wondering what to look for a far as problems & issues. any advice would be appreciated.

I tried to pick up an FC once..I popped a muscle in my groin...ouch..lol!
(funny,10 beers I can pick up a Big girl..What's that about?)
88 will accept some 90 parts but not some the electricals,so watch the parts swap.
S4(88) has a Mechanical OMP so you are good there. The S5(90) has an electrical,so look up Limp mode if you plan to Tinker with that beast.

..Mental note: Buy Flour...(or stay away from that 10th beer).
.........
S4's have the Replaceable lower ball joint on the Front A arm.S5's are integrated.
You can't use an s5 ecu in an s4..(remember?,no Electric OMP in an s4).
This list can go on and on.You just need to compare, and there are threads available.

Your cousin is a d-bag and so is the seller to sell it when you put a down payment on it.

Why would he buy both? Seems like a wanna bee to copy your interests.

See the buying guide here:
RX-7 Technical Information

If you use the 90 for parts swapping, take the stereo surround and the vents above it to replace the respective parts in the 88. The S5 surrounds do not crack like the S4 parts.

originally my cousin owned them and put them up for sale. while i was trying to get more info on them, he had sold it to another guy. that guy got in a spot and was needing the money, so i was gonna try to buy them from him. my cousin saw how cheap they were and bought them back...not sure what he sold them for to begin with.

i was gonna get them cause it was only $700 for both...

one was running. the other was supposedly not that far from being driveable, but could be used for parts none the less.
