priming the fuel system??

my haynes manual says to jumper the yellow two pin connector in between the leading coil and the green six pin connector. the book says it for an 89 and later models similar. i have a 91 vert. ive looked in that general area and cannot locate a yellow connector. the only one i found was under the airbox.

The one near the airfilter/ afm is the one. Haynes is kinda messed up if they tell you what they told you.

Just jumper it and put the key to ON and the pump runs and pressurizes the fuel rails.

ty well i was starting by trying to pressurize the system and after some testing i found the pump was bad. ive got another one ready to drop in. but i looked into my tank and decided to drain it. i am able to drain it but can i flush the tank out without pulling it off? if so what should i use. if i just drain it all those sediments i saw in there will not drain.
