Primary-Secondary injector confusion,,help
well the way everyone talks on here the primary fuel rail is the upper rail and the secondaries are the ones on the block and close together. well that is the way i understood it anyway.
well my service manual says the primaries are the small rail and the secondaries are the long rail,,,well then i am screwed,,,based on my previous understanding i replaced the two on the small rail with 650cc. and i can't just swap them back becuse i had to modify the rail.
so the book is right isn't it??
please tell me it is a typo or something.

The primary rail is the small one. Think about it; the small one sprays fuel directly into the combustion chamber while the larger rail sprays way upstream of the motor.
I know the feeling; earlier today I had the PD and the FPR backwards.
