What would some of you (or most people pay) for an 86 GXL NA 2+2 with a brand new 13B from Mazda engine with a 36,000 mile Warranty with a perfect Interior great paint job no scratches or dents in the body everything working perfectly
I am wondering this because I have a car just like it except the engine has a cracked water jacket and it needs a new engine Mazda is going to charge about $4000 for an engine replacement I would do it myself but we are moving and I don’t have the time and no other workshops will replace the engine with in 200 miles!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh. I was wonder if it would be worth my money to do this

The Blue Book on an 86 GXL 2+2 with 5 miles on the odometer and in otherwise Excellent condition is about $2,700. I think you would be better off just selling the car as-is for $700, and then buy something else after you move.
