Price of a N/A?

I keep finding 13b NAs for 2 grand, thats about the same price that im finding turbo 13bs, if not a tad bit more.

Is this right? or am i looking in the wrong places?

I was going to do a turbo swap but decided to just use the 7 as my DD and save up for something a bit newer with less abuse from people who don't care/know about their cars.

For the whole car?

I paid about 3500 for mine (in 2006) which was too much. I haven't looked for a while, but I think you should be able to get a decent one for under 2000 if you're patient and look hard enough. (Try the forum classifieds: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-rx-7-1986-1992-vehicles-108/). Most of the better ones seem to be over $3k, but you never know.

If I bought another one, I'd look for a nice one in the $3k-4k range, but that's just me.

You're in California, so you shouldn't have much trouble getting a rust-free car. Mine is from northern Indiana and is pretty rusty underneath.

I bought my '90 GTUs for $950, but it has a lot of mileage (176k) and needed interior work and an engine rebuild. It ran. Just not very well.

Not a spot of rust anywhere on it, even the fasteners. I love California cars.

a complete, all new engine cost like 7K with all new parts from Mazda.

a rebuild one cost around 2-3K, depends on location, parts re-used, etc.

It really depends the parts run from 1-1.5k depending on what you recycle. It can be upwards of 2k depending on a number of things.

my 7 came with civic springs on it ....apparently the previous owner didnt want to buy lowering spring for a mazda so he used cut civic springs , ( no wonder i felt uncomfortable driving 300 km's back home ) it was riding on shocks only
