that interior does not have 135K on it. it must have been redone. when my car was at 50K it didnt look THAT good on the inside. Humans must not have driven that car.

He posted on Honda-tech too.

Interior is very very impressive and no wonder the paint looks so clean.

I would say that it is worth exactly what you sold it for, $3,400. If the current owner can find some moron to pay $5K for it, then that's on him. However, asking that price and getting it are two different things.

Evil Aviator, good point

I mean, when I sold the car it had 136,xxx miles on what was believed to be the original motor. The exhaust was basically in need of replacement, and there was a prob. with the idle which might be a vac leak, i dunno.

The exterior and interior were in very good condition. The exterior was actually perfect. The paint was so nice

I dunno... I guess a part of me feels a little deceived and manipulated. Then again, any reason that I would be upset is my fault. Although it does get me a little pissy esp. when I see MY HOUSE in the background of those pics. Yes he used the same pics that I had used. I doubt he would get more than $4000. The car mechanically is certainly not as nice as the interior or exterior. Not to say it was a piece of **** mechancially, but like most RX-7s, it certainly wasnt trouble free when I bought it, owned it or sold it.

Cloead: I would imagine that a similar thing would happen with you. Someone sees the great pics, and then views the car in person and sees that mechanically, it is only a 7 or 8 and low-***** or passes entirely.

Anyways, yea, Im a little upset, but hey its all my fault for selling it for $3400. The thing I really dont get is the fact that he paid $700+ to get it shipped to him, so he really "paid" $4100.

Holy F*ing *****!
He's in AZ too! That's almost exactly what I'm looking for.

Although I would spend 5k on it if it only had 70k on the engine. 130k means it's not long until it'll pop.

I'd give him 3k for it but I need a car that'll last me atleast a couple months since it would be my daily driver.

Out of curiousity how much did it cost to ship?

its supposed to be ofset...

the IC is directly under that scoop... Why isnt it centered? I think Mazda was trying to prove a point of form follows function, because it certainly wouldnt be that hard to make the scoop a little bigger, or respape the IC around the intake manifold slightly so it could be truely centered

Yeah that guy totally could've at least taken his own pictures of the car. You know, i was actually considering buying your car for awhile. It looks great.

As for the offcenter hoodscoop, that's never really bothered me, i don't know why, but i think thats kinda cool. But then again i was dropped on my head a few times as a child.

A little late but whats the point here? You sold the car. Done. Shouldn't the sale of your car not be a concern anymore? Even If It's price took a swift kick up North?

If you are serious, go for it. especially if you are close to arizona (certainly closer than ohio)

i would like to see it go to an enthuist... but certainly dont pay $5000 for it. id be happy to tell you all the little flaws of the car, especially since I owned it for 2 years and obviously know more of the little quirks than he does

silverrotor.. perhaps i miss my car?

I don't get whats going on.

That is business...that is how its done.

When you buy something from best buy it is bought for 60% less than what u are paying for. Dealers do this too. Its business...I don't get it. If some one buys it for 5000 so be it.

Why spend a dollar on a 20fl oz bottle of soda if you can buy 2 liters for 99 cents. You know we all buys the 20fl oz bottle because its simple fast and chilled already.

Just like a car. Yeah he bought it for 3k but maybe some one is willing to pay 5k because its closer to some one else or he can make profit by making it simple for some one else.

hell he can be a better sells person.

I know the pain you feel because you sold it to some one that would take care of it. But thats life.
