Pressure sensor Question?

Today, with the help of silverrotor..... we conected his decoder for the ecu, and found that there is something wrong with the pressure sensor. What exactly could be wrong with it? Is it worth fixing, or should I buy a new sensor? Keep in mind the car seems to be running fine............. Thanks!

Make sure the sensors plug is seated. Make sure the vacuum line is good at both ends. Tap into the brown/red wire and see is the output is b/t 2.3 to 2.7 volts when the car is idling and the vac hose is pulled off. Massage the harness and see if that effects the output of the sensor.

You should see about 1.2 volts at idle with the vac hose connected up.

See the fsm that's online and free for checking out the pressure sensor.

What exactly are the consequences of running a bogged Boost/Pressure Sensor? The FSM does not seem to elaborate on this.
