Pressure sensor? Idle screw?
Ok. So, my SAFC-II is attached to my pressure sensor for throttle position.
I noticed that while the car is in neutral, and I rev the car up. For example, if I just hold the car at 2.5k RPM, the throttle on the SAFC-II is reading 0%. Now if I rev up and slowly press the accel I can see the throttle pos. changing.
Driving around, to put load on the car, I noticed that everything seems fine in terms of going up in pressure, but if I floor the car, it will hit 100% for a bit, but then every once in a while it will drop to 98% sometimes 95% for a second or two and then back to 100%. That is with throttle down fully.
The one I thought was weird was sitting in neutral. I thought maybe rev'ing would show some kind of pressure on the SAFC-II. (shown as throttle)
So, could that mean I have an intake leak somewhere? I also noticed that if I rev and then let go... the car will almost die and then shoot back up to about 1.3k and then start to die, then rev again.. it will continue to do that until i just barely touch the throttle and let go, and then it will begin to idle fine again.
Next thing is I noticed that my idle adjust screw is almost completely out. I can see the rubber o-ring that is on the screw. But if I screw it down at all the idle drops a ton.
Any links for setting idle from scratch?
Thanks!
P.S. TPS is set correctly. No dead spots found using analog multimeter.
