pressure plate bolt broken

my friend (Raptor13x) snapped a bolt (26 ft-lbs max, het set the torque wrench at 40 ft-lbs accidentally), and we can't get it out. At this point, we've tried an "easy out" and it didn't work, the threads are all screwed up in the hole on the flywheel, and we're just drilling the bastard out. Now, how easy might this be to fix does anyone know? Also, any ideas what I can do? Maybe drill the bastard out and weld some new material back in, then drill that out? It's really a bastard..

oh yeah, and does anyone have a spare one of these "lightweight" flywheels to sell? steel or aluminum, I don't want the counter balance, I've got that already.. just the flywheel itself.

Well I just got a used lightweight steel flywheel and it had the wrong counterweight on it. Vibrated like hell when I started up my car so dropped the tranny and put the stock one in. I wont have access to a decent shop over the summer and I really don't feel like taking my tranny out for the 3rd time so I want to get rid of it. I was told it was made by McCloud. I'd like to get what I paid for it ($200) because I couldn't use it. I don't know the new price on this one, but the Racing Beat ones sell for $390. It was supposed to be for an 89-91 N/A. The flywheel fit on just fine, it was just the counterweight that was wrong I guess. I also have the pressure plate bolts and spacers for it.
Let me know,
