My buddy just bought a turbo II. The turbo was shot and the guy had already taken the intake off and the turbo out. Its a 89 -90. Well we put the new turbo in and there are a few vaccum lines that I'm not sure where they go. The car will start but then stall immediately. Sometimes the car will start then rev really high like 5k then stall. He sprayed some starting fluid in there and it ran great for a minute then died again. Is there any way I can figure out where some of these lines go? There are 2 black metal lines running side by side. They are below and if front of the intake manifold , I don't know what they hook too? So he just put a hose in there connecting them together. The motor has great compression. Any help would be awsome. Thanks guys

Um.. Um...

The only two large metal lines under the intake are the fuel lines.

Coupled with the fact that starting fluid will get the engine running for a second or two.. You probably want to recheck your fuel system.
