Pressure Conversion Question

ok my s5 turbo reads -20psi on my defi boost gauge at idle.
i just installed my hks evc 4, and its telling me approx. -.64 at idle.

doing the conversion with this calculator: http://home.online.no/~helgnil/calc3_4e.html

i get that -.64 bar = -9.2 psi

am i reading it wrong? is it not BAR? the boost gauge is on the same nipple as the evc, so i know they are reading the same #'s...

its not calibrated wrong or anything because engine off, boost gauge reads 0 and evc reads 0.0

bar is correct, however the other measurement most likely is inches of mercury since using this, http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/pressure , -20 in. Hg is about -.67 bar which is most likely well within the allowed % error of the instruments
