Well, since everyone at my work calls it the prescription 7 (RX... prescription... yeah... they're regular geniuses) I suppose that's it's new nickname.

Anywho, I finally got it cleaned up (wash, 2 coats of wax). The new hatch/tail lights (S4) and exhaust are on it now, and my new grey interior/non-rusted sunroof are on their way soon.



I just finished a CD player install (cheap Blaupunkt for now, the GTP is the stereo car), and I finally have the idle almost perfect. I'm still tracking down a couple of electrical issues (I need to finish resoldering the clock/idiot lights, and I need to fix two lights in the logicon, but all in all I think she's coming along well for the 1000 dollars I have in her!

edit: The paint isn't quite where I want it to be, quality wise, so it's getting resprayed (including jambs and engine compartment) in JET black this fall. Add some 20% tint, and she should be lookin' real pretty... then the 5 lug conversion and some 'vert BBS wheels.

Nice work- looks good. I just offloaded a set of Vert wheels- they will look nice with the black paint.
