Premix/Oil

Uhm I heard about this a while back from a friend of mine. He was mentioning whether or not I was going to run premix on my car for a cruise...What was he talking about? Oil premix? And just recently someone from work told me that they put some sort of 2 cycle oil in their gas and that helps preserve the life of apex seals, and makes the car run smoother....is this true? Or did I just hear wrong?

Do a search for pre-mix

You will learn more than you probably want to know.
