Weigh in - 1991 TII

Well, took my car to the truck scale today....where I live is the nations largest inland port...so there are more scales than cops.

1991 TII

-Full interior (sound deading, spare tire, jack)
-No AC/PS (man rack)
-Greddy FMIC/Haltech

Along with a couple things of premix/oil quarts. I weigh 134lbs and I had 1/3 of gas.

No Head unit though...but all speakers are still there.

3080lbs.

I am surprised....less than I thought.

James

mine weighed 2920 with full interior, power steering, greddy FMIC, haltech, racing hart C2 17x7.5 wheels no spare, no jack. so yeah that sounds about right, that spare is pretty heavy.

then i went back with no floor carpet, no bins, no rear carpet, no sound deadening mat, no PS, no AC, and weighed in at 2720. 89 TII

Bullshit, let me guess you had a full tank to?

Back to reality, i'm estimating mine will do about 2400ish with no driver- 86 sport- no sunroof, full aftermarket exhaust (rb), na, no emissions, haltech (hey it might help), s5 tii meshies (17lbs each), everything behind the seats is gone, including tar, small sound system, corbeau race seat (11lbs?), sparco steering wheel (weighs less than stock, lol), no a/c, no p/s, aluminum hood, flywheel is 12lbs, etc etc.

I'm sorry but no...2400lbs with four people in it? Lets assume that they're all about 100lbs, which would be rather light for an adult. That's a 2000lbs unloaded car.

I had a 2000lb car. You didn't get anywhere near that weight without a lot of lexan and a lot of sawzall.

My 87 TII weighed 2605 w/o me in it when I had it weighed. That's with no AC, No PS, No Emissions, no spare, 3" single exhaust, and alot of the sound deadening removed.

My '87 Sport weighs in at about 2405lbs without me. Obvious things removed, PS/AC, nothing behind the dash (no heater core, fans, ducting, etc), has a OEM cdplayer and one speaker (long drives to the track get annoying with nothin to listen to, though I can barely hear it anyway), no front carpet, rear bins & carpet are there, both stock seats remain. no sunroof, manual windows/locks, tow hooks are removed, along with various other things not needed.
