so your saying it is ok to pull that rod off, leave the omp on and then just pre-mix from there?
if I do that I shoudl go what 1oz:1gal or 1oz:2gal

If you take the rod of, your omp is still working it injects the same amount of oil if your on the throttle or not, so if your racing your car i would go with 1oz- 1gal. If your just doing normal driving and once in a while you step on it i go with 1oz -2gal.
I left mine hooked up and i still premix 4oz - 10gal with no problem. If someone think i'm worng please chime in. becouse i would not want to steer any one worng. What works for me might not work for someone else.

Rotaries confuse me

Ok, from my calculations, at maximum OMP rod extension (pulled up), and at 2000 rpm:
Turbo: 2.7-3.2 oz oil / 128 oz gas
N/A: 2.11-2.76 oz oil / 128 oz gas
This is based on the assumption that at 2000 rpm, you'll be getting about 40 miles from an hour of driving. Crude... but that's about the best I can think of.
Someone want to correct/refute this? Please...

I wanna go fast.

My top off is about 12 gallons and I have no problems running 4-5oz in it on my regular driving... However I run my car hard wherever I go ... Singing the engine to 8k and remembering "fast is smooth and smooth is fast!". Anyways, Ty to whoever started the thread and to all who threw in their two cents! Gave me a lot of food for thought.
