premix fuel door chart
i remeber talk a few months back about somebody making a chart that can be put on the inside of the fuel door, to show how much premix you should be using in lets say 1/4 tank 1/2 tank of gas or whatever, i tried searching to see if anyone had made this, but couldnt find anything just wondering if anyone has done this figured out all the math etc, to how much our tanks can hold, i wanted to print one on my computer, then laminate it to the fuel door or something, because i am concerened with my leaky omp
Since I know I get around 25-26 mpg, I just reset the odometer every fillup, then when the next fillup comes around I divide the odometer mileage by 25 (to get the number of gallons required to fillup), and multiply that number by 1.25 (an approximately 100:1 ratio).
For instance, today I had 260 miles on the odometer before the fillup, that's 10+ gallons, times 1.25= 12.5 (plus a little) ounces of premix. Simple, eh?
