If you have a mechanical OMP, you can block it off without any worries.

If you have an electronic OMP, you will have to do some ECU trickery in order to prevent it from going into limp mode. Since you don't have a US-Spec FC, getting an Rtek will not work for you, so you'll have to find some other route.
