Premium Gas

I have been informed that I could run 89 octane (super)
in my 88 Turbo II. But I'm pretty sure that it is not ok to use anything less than 91 octane. Just wondering.

'86-'88 have the lower compression rotors so I think it would be okay to run 89 octane. However, if you boost up...91 would be best.

Let me get some help here guys! I only use the 107 stuff so I'm not sure if this would be feasible.

For a T2 you will get the best power with a research octane of 91 or 92. Anything above 92 will be wasted unless the car has mods.

Well I live in Texas and the difference between super and premium is 89 and 93. On top of that the engine that I have is going to be replaced very soon. So I guess 89 wouldn't be to bad.
