Power windows adjustment or rebuild coupe

There are many threads regarding power windows for verts. But nothing for coupes..

How are the windows fixed for coupes?

Does anyone know if the Plastic "sprocket" and bead "chain" can be replaced, and if so what the most likley to be successfull replacment was?

Is there an adjustment that can be made to put more pressure between the sprocket and chain to keep them from splipping?

I thought the RX-7 used a drum & steel cable arrangement to travel the carrier.

You may have to pull out the regulator assembly & see if you can hand fabricate replacements for worn parts.
Or - just replace the regulator assembly.

Only the vert/non power windows regulator is as you describe.

The coupe PW uses a string of beads that resembles a rosary strung together across a steel cable and sprung. The motor engages this with a nylon or plastic sprocket to drive the window up and down.

You can get them from the dealer. I think I paid $30 apiece. The are pretty easy to replace.
