Power Window Relay Fix. Where is it?
A while ago, I stumbled across a post here that described a power window fix which involved installing a pair of relays in each door to operate the motors, thereby taking the switches out of the high-current circuit. It had part numbers for the relays, wiring diagrams and pictures. It was an outstanding post.
Anyway, I have searched on "power windows" and variations till I'm blue in the face.
Anyone have a link to this one?
Thanks!

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
It is pretty simple to add a standard automotive relay pair to upgrade the window switches, you need one relay per direction per window (so to do both windows 4 relays).
simply cut the wires from the switches... now you have a switch side and motor side.
so for each wire and each relay (4 total- for the drivers and passengers window switches):
The motor side will go to 30 of the relay, the switch side to 86. 87A and 85 goes to ground, while 87 hooks T'd into the 12 volt ignition source at the switch.

Thanks, Icemark.
I can likely figure it out on my own, but the post I had discovered (and neglected to link) already had the diagram done and part numbers, etc.
No sense re-inventing the wheel.
Anyone?
