Power window issues.

My old power window switches were junk. I've been jumping the window up and down with a ground wire and power from the radio supply...(ghetto.)

So i finally received new PW switches, and cant get them to work at all. Seems like im not getting power to the switch. any ideas on where to start here?

FSM to the rescue. You'd think i would have learned by this time. When it says "Repair the wiring harness" i interpret that as "you are screwed."

Not at all for the harness is just a group of wires with a plug on each end. With respect to power windows there are only so many wires dedicated to it so it shouldn't be too difficult if you make the proper diagnosis. If you check the necessary wires and they don't test out properly according to spec then either the plug connection needs work or the wire is damaged such as being cracked or cut. Just follow the FSM instructions and go from there. If you can wire a lamp properly you shouldn't have much trouble repairing your problem. Don't make it out to be harder than it really is. It's not a good start in doing so.
