Power steering plan

I was just wondering if anyone knew if you HAD to remove radiator, fan, and front sway bar to get to and remove the steering rack or if this is just overkill. I also was wondering if there was any other special tools you would need other than a tie rod end puller to do the job.

Thanks

Taking the sway bar out is needed, but the rad and shroud can stay. Take it out from the bottom, you'll need to take the plastic underbody panel off too, and be sure to disconnect the power steering lines before you start yanking on them.
