So my p/s rack started to puke fluid through the rack so I decided to install a manual rack laying around that I purchased through here several years ago. Im in the process of installing it and I ran into an issue were on the passenger side area of the rack the mounting is loose/have excessive play due to the manual rack is way thinner. Anyone ran into this issue b4?

 

Yes. The bushings are different, and if I recall, NLA new.

 

Right hand side of manual rack is smaller than power rack. Like scathcart said, bushing/bracket is NLA from Mazda. There have been posts on this subject before. Most people either fab a new bracket or have bought a PU bushing from Energy Suspension that takes up the gap with the original bracket.

 

i saw an ebay seller that's selling poly bushings, hope i can use that with the p/s rack bracket.
