Power steering leaking

I seems to be loosing power steering fluid, and I was wondering is there any points in the system that I should be looking for when fixing the leaks. Any specific seals or joints/junctions that leak?

Is there also any flexible tubing that might need replacing, and how high pressure does it need to be

The high pressure line from the P/s pump to the rack leaked on mine years ago. Might look there.

Mine leaked a couple of years back from a metal line under the car that runs in front of the steering rack. The line had rusted through and some pinhole leaks popped up. I cut the bad part of the line out and put in a high pressure fuel line and double clamped it on both sides. You do need to drop the "belly pan" off of it to check this line and on mine, you could see it leaking when the wheel was turned. Don't know if this is your problem, but worth a look.

Good luck with it.

If turning the wheel can help expose the leaks then that is very helpful.

A few months ago my Dad got a hoist put in our garage, so if I can con my brother into turning the steering wheel for me I should hopefully be able to see it from underneath. If there is a hole/damaged section, then high pressure fuel line (and good quality clamps) aren't that expensive or too hard to get.

There does appear to be a fair leak though as I managed to see the puddle of PS fluid where I park my car.
Thanks

Question

Hey does anybody know where I can find a kit or something like it that I can buy to replace the whole damn line? I believe my whole line is leaking from all over. I replaced my oil cooler lines a few months back w/ corksport's ss braided lines and I was gonna change my p/s line at the same time but I wasn't sure where to get one. I'm sure there are stores selling it but I want of course the best deal for my $$$.! Also, what exactly do parts store refer to them again?? *me idiot*

Any suggestions? Thanx.!
