Power drain

My battery dies in half a day. I diconnected the neg terminal and hook up a test like and it lights up. The two main circiuts with power draw are the Main and the BTN, I havn't check how many amps the BTN is pulling, I am guessing that one is not the problem. When I dissconnect the Alternator the light goes off, so is my alternator smoked?
