Power Burst

Everyone seems to have this hesitation between 3800-4000 RPM in power. I am having the opposite, a husge gain there, like a turbo lag or something ( i drive NA). Is something wrong, or is that normal? Either way, i like it.

the 3800rpm hesitation is just that, a hesitation. Around 4000rpm the 5th and 6th ports are opening up. Thats the pick up you are feeling. It's like mazda's vtec, excuse the poor analogy.
