power band?

alrite everyone .... i know that at roughly 3800 rpm my 5th and 6th ports should open ..... what i was wondering would i notice it hitting the powerband as i would in say a civic when it starts at 3k ..... if i should feel a significant increse in power then i dont think my ports are working properly ..... it seems to rust keep reving as apposed to pulling ... i find it kinda stops pulling at about 4 k or a bit higher depending on the gear .... any input would help .... and as for putting grease one the actuators or whatever if i knew where they were i would try that however im trying to learn how to feel my car if u understand what im saying
thnx in advance guys

hmm gennerally if the ports arnt working, power does tend to peak at around 4500-5000, then it just feels like your pushing air......

ive noticed the power band seems to be more like from 4500-6500 as the "sweet spot"
