Hey guys, I have a 90 GXL with busted antenna. I am going to take it out since it is useless anyway. I just want to know what is the easiest way to remove this unit. I've done this in my old 86 before, but its been a long time so i dont remember. Is it just as simple as removing the 2 10 mm nut on the bottom, snapping the o ring on top and unplug that 1 electrical connector on the side? Or is there more connectors, i dont remmeber

 

If I remember correctly Mazdatrix has a page regarding the power antenna on their FAQ site. The info deals with replacing the mast but it tells you how to go about removing the antenna.
