power antenna doesnt work.

power antenna doesnt work.

my power antenna doesnt work. theres no motor sound or nothin. and when i turn my stereo on, i cant get any channels in the fm. i used to be able to but now i cant. could it be that the antenna wire fell out of the back of my head unit? please help me.

The antenna wire plugs into the power antenna and the back of the stereo. So long as the actual antenna is still around you should get reception.

I paid $90 and change it myself. THe OEM mazda one is a bit more, but you don't have to widen the bolt holes as with the aftermarket one.

mine doesn't go up and down. do the base models have a solid antena,,i would like to have just a solid mast antena.

You could get one of those rubber sport antennas and it would look good.

If i were you I would just get an antenna that fits into the body (pretty cheap on ebay) I think it looks better that way, and its less expensive that trying to fix a power ant. Anyways, I love you car, it looks alot like mine except mine is red with gay factory rims. I was trying to decide on white or aluminum, but I think looking at your car has made up my mind. Good luck with the antenna

check out the junkyards...the antenna on my n/a didn't work when i got it. then i got one from the junkyard and slapped it in...
