Powdercoated Parts

Since I had to pull everything off to get to the coolant o-rings on the LIM I asked a friend to powdercoat everything in chrome for me. It was a toss up between polishing or powdercoating and I decided on the low-maintenance method. He's gonna spray the TB and alternator and I'll clearcoat everything when I get it back this week. Overall, very happy.

The 'nearly-chrome' ceramic coating alot of places do also looks really good, and it easy to clean.

Those look great. fwiw, you can polish the aluminum and then have them powdercoated clear to have the best of both worlds. Obviously costs more though...

i am the powder coating guy.

I am the powder coating guy. I worked up some ruff prices:
rotor housings: $30 each or $50 for both
end plates: $25 each or $60 for all three
lower intake manifold: $30
Upper intake manifold $25
intercooler connector (goes to t-body) $20
oil pan: $30
front cover $30
the above prices are for 1 step powder
add $10 per part on 2 step powder coatings.
I need to get my new oven so IM taking requests before I purchase anything big...
I am a responsible person but I cannot be held accountable for any damaged parts. I will have a huge veiaty of colors to choose from and many different 2 step process such as anodize, camealian (extra$), clears, tints, and glitters.
so if you want people to go bananas over your enginbay get your stuff powder coated! With powder coating there is no polishing or buffing its like a verry strong car paint all you have to do if you get it dirty is wet it down with some soap and water and wipe it off!
To reach me shoot me an email to RX7pro@aol.com or on AIM rx7pro
thank you,
Aaron Leon
