Powder coating CAS

Pretty much as the title says, has anyone taken one apart to powder coat it? any tips or tricks?

Thanks!

nope but it shouldn't be too difficult. drive out the gear roll pin and take off the gear, slide out the reluctor shaft and take out the sensors, you now have a bare CAS housing.

I've done plenty. Remove the electronics at the top, tape the shaft all the way to the bottom, tape the rotors at the top, plus the two screw holes at the top, and have at it.

I figured that the reluctor shaft would need to come out in that there are bushings or seals in it that I wouldn't want to bake.

I figured it would be pretty straight forward, but always better to be safe than sorry

well i guess it isn't so simple, there is a 2 way lock collar under the gear that requires a special tool to disassemble it further so i guess kevin's method is the most reasonable one.
