Yeah, don't sell it to her if that's what she is planning for it. Selling the car or not, it shouldn't go to someone who will let it turn to crap....

When/if I sell my Probe, there are certain types of people I just would refuse sale to. It's still too nice to go to someone who won't care for it.

That is so childish why would you not sell to someone who had the money. Just because someone is doing something to it that you don't like so what you'll probably never see that car again. At least she is planining to do something with it. Only thing you are going to be out is money because someone will sell her a car.

I can't speak for tmak, but in my opinion, it's about respect for the car.

I feel that RX-7s are a truly exceptional car and should be preserved as well as possible, not only for the fact that they aren't produced here anymore, but because they're so unique, special, and impressive.

I would absolutely hate to have an RX-7 in otherwise nice condition, sell it to someone, and then a month later see it out on the road completely "riced" out.

Call it childish if you will, but like finding a new home for a pet, I would want my car to go to a good home as well.

tell her to go buy a caddy... that's more suitable for hydros and strobes. sell it to someone you know will at least care for it the way it should be.

Sell it to her. Why? Because a girl that age will not be able to afford a hydraulic setup. And your up in the cash dept. If anything, find stock parts and get your car as close to stock and sell it at the same price. Then sell off all the performance parts ya got .

I don't think you can compare a car to finding a home for an animal. Maybe I think like this because I sell cars for a living.

So you would rather sell to a person who says they are going to put an RE Amemiya body kit and a 20b conversion just because they really like the car. And chances are they will never do anything with it.

As far as "rice" goes my uncle who races an ITS rx-7 and his racing buddies would consider most things people do here "rice". He is always say that we put all this money into the engine and suspension and never get to use it to it's full potential. Now I am say this for the people who don't take their cars to the track.

Plus, you'll probably get what your asking for it, chances are if you sell it to someone who knows a lot about sevens, you probably won't get what your asking for it. Thats just my .02.
