I posted before about putting a TII hood on an N/A. I was encountered with the problem of getting water and perhaps rocks thrown into the engine bay. Heres the Idea.......Take off the seal for the intercooler, fit it to a K&N drop in type filter(like the ones in the stock air box)
so it will not come off until you make it, put the seal with the filter back on the hood and the problem water and rocks/dirt into the engine bay should be solved. Right? do you think it will work? please let me know what you think of my idea.

the sleeker hood on the N/A looks sweeter...and there is no benefit to the turbo hood for you. your idea sounds decent...but

i mean if you are doing it because you like how it looks then thats your preference. if you are doing it to make people think you have a turbo then well hmm...whatever floats your boat :P

id rather get a turbo with an n/a hood and a front intercooler to make me a sleeper
