well when I did a V8 mod, lol I mounted my huge new oil cooler behind the front grille. It looks just like a Intercooler, I was thiking about making a ARC or Greddy stencil to spray on. As of now without any stencil I get ricers revvin at me all the time cause they think that its a mad TYITE INercO00ler

you mean to dublicate the effects of boost. the intake on a T2 is used for finding cooler air than if the intake was in the fender, or the engine bay. true, you would have to be doing a high speed for the intaken air to be the same as the speed in which the rotors pull in air through the ports.

How about using the exhaust to run a pair of turbos that feed a jet motor for added fuel economy.... if U use the down pipes after the turbo's to feed the jet and use the turbo charged air to also feed the jet U could burn the unused fuel. U could also use some additional injectors to really run the jet for some nice thrust power, maybe a spark plug too. & then there would be some afterburner injectors.... Just think... no moving parts.... just a big glorified Catalytic converter/muffler turned into a pulse jet for maybe 500 - 1000 lbs of thrust?!?

I also have been thinking about the oil slick sprayer & the caltrop (spike thing) deployment. I have been considering turning my 7 into a "spy" car. Maybe some 30 cal. machine guns behind the FTP's? How about a remote camera on a retractable mast that lets U see above traffic & displays on a central screen? Spray some oil on the exhaust manifold for a smoke screen?

I also like the brake light blackout switch. How about a police band radio jammer? Or maybe just a fine spray of oil out the back to blind following vehicles? Keep the ideas coming....

Someone needs to think of a way to use all the excess heat that comes off an engine and put it to work. I mean half the energy used in a combustion engine is heat and the other half is used by the rotor or piston as kinetic energy. We are wasting soo much energy!!

What if you had a high powered laser beam hooked to the side of your car that would only come on for less than a second but would pop the tire of the person beside you.

I've seen the things the cops use that can short out a car if it sticks into them but what about making a EMP device that you could use from a distance but it wouldn't affect your car!

i had an idea to run a new intake pipe to the afm and the another pipe to run infront of the radiator where the coolant res. normally sits and im goin to fab a bracket to place the coolant some where else

i also plan to fab in led lights into the back instead of the huge ugly stock ones

In essence, a turbo does just that.

i guess i will have to make my 13b into a steam/combustion hybrid the heat can boil the water and the steam creating pressure can .........
it started off as a good idea

build a grill on your engine. Maybe punch a hole in the firewall and have a trapdoor so you can get your burgers once their cooked.

Then you can drive fast AND drive full.

what effect does temperature have on gas? like if you heat it up do you get more/less power, or does it last longer, or what? and how would you fab up 2 rads? wouldnt that be bad for your engine running too cool and all? and are there any other stock rads from other cars that cool better.

It may be necassary to people running 25 pounds of boost.

i heard a cool idea awhile back....with an aftermarket alarm. You need one with the dual zone motion sensors....in the first zone have it programmed to make a gun cocking...and for the actuall zone where the alarm would go off...have it trigger a small laser pointer on a moving mechanism of sorts, so that it looks as if a red dot from a gun sight is moving around....then maybe a loud gunshot to follow...probably not very effective...but would be pretty original.

My fuel cut switch is a removable magnet. Like that of a home security system, you know, the ones they put on windows...if opened the alarm will sound if system is on.

I take it with me if I leave my car in a parking garage, or bad neighborhood.

Actually a turbo uses the pressure of the exhaust flow to push a turbine and then compress intake air making it more dense. It has nothing to do with using the heat already made by the motor. In fact it would be a great acomplishment if you could take the extreme heat away from turbo. Hence the Intercooler was made.

Well since our cars normal operating temps are around 180 degrees, and that water boils at around 212 degrees it would be kinda hard to make that steam/combustion hybrid. (I've actually thought about it before.) Maybe if it was in a T2 and you were boiling the water off of the exhaust pipe and manifold. I'm not saying that I have the answer, but just think how people made fun of the guy who thought of using the exhaust gas in your car to make the first "turbo."

i dont think two rads would do much, it would run cooler but you engine would have to work harder to make the water pump push the extra water around your engine...

the turbo hood on an N/A might not be good for ram air, but it would be a place to get some freash air at least...

i once poured a bunch of used oil from an oil changed on my rear tire on my truck i used to have and made a giant blue smoke cloud, it was funny

Not nessascarily twice as much boost, but it would spool twice as fast.

i was thinking of taking the side rubber strips, filling the grooved area with bondo, giving a sort of a radius, and then painting it the color of the car. i think it would give the 7 a more modern look, since the grooves give it a 80's look (especially the s4 all black ones).

i was thinking of doin this to my S4 as well when I get it painted..

but how much weight is the bondo gonna add i wonder?

as for my "ghetto mod"

I tore out the entire console, AC/vents/radio/etc...

fabbed a piece of Cardboard, to hold all my gauges, SAFC 2, Turbo Timer, etc..

spray painted it black...

enuff said...

intending out making an aluminum sheet eventually
