Yah, but they're ebay mufflers. Honestly they aren't muffling much at all from how it sounds.

You've got a point. I'm just saying it wouldn't make your neighbors feel any better.

That's what I'd run if I had a TII, and what I WILL run some day

i like my loud setup. only thing i'm going to change is i'm going to be adding a Borla XR1 as a 2nd presilencer. it'll be used to give a little more restriction and a little quieter tone.

My muffler, hand made by my friend... he gaurantees it for life! Spent half a day doing up this sucker!

Sounds awesome, no tinny stainless sound from here that you get from cheap mufflers, has an aggressive tone to it.

Not a very clear picture but all i got right now!

I dont understand, the real main reason cars have exsaust mufflers is to muffle the sound, if you need a "pre silencer" then i guess you muffler isnt doing a good job of muffleing the sound?

another thing i dont get is why people are so into how thier mufflers look spending alot of money on em yet they have stock rims that look like crap.

To each is own i guess

yeah the camber is ok... its the way it is cause the car sits heaps low! Nothing you can really do about it, once you get the rear guard over the tyre and even rim it automatically gets neg camber

well, rims are expensive....

besides, changing exhaust is for performance increase, not just the looks.....
but if u had the money, and different exhaust can give the same performance then why not choose one that looks good to you?

Do you even own an RX7? Run a header and a straight pipe to even the stock cat-back and tell us how it sounds.

im sure it would be loud, yes i own an rx7 turbo and im accully about to buy another one (better condition).

Once i fix my current rx7 i plan to sell it and use the profit to upgrade the other. Exaust is in ofcorse but i dont plan on haveing huge coffee cans sticking out louder than a blown 545.

I want preformance and a nice sound but not too much, i gota be able to hear my trance while i pull on the nearby porsch

Sounds like you want the RB system, really thats the quietest/best performing one you can get. Go ahead and do straight pipe instead of the presilencer too, that's what I'd do honestly.

Sweet Opel Astra in that pic up there.

Anyways, I disconnected my exhaust just for fun yesterday. Basically just running headers then the first stock cat. Sounds sweet =p

I'm getting my N1 later this month though.

okay, here is mine...this is a custom system from the manifold-back. new custom straight pipe to custom y-pipe to 2 megan racing mufflers. although these are fiberglass packed, they are still sounding wicked after a month of hard driving. in fact, i don't notice any sound change yet. these mufflers cost a little more than typical ebay mufflers, but i think it is worth it...

as for sound this setup is quite loud. most sound is in the low exhaust pulse range though, and i actually find that this system generates too much low frequencies. before 5k rpm on the throttle, all you hear is a massive low vibration. there is a nice tone you can hear from the engine after this rpm...
it would be cool if i could post a sound clip or video...
