Possable Blown Coolant Seal?

well I noticed a few days ago smoke comming out from under my hood. So I poped it and the whole driver side of the engine was like steam was coming off of it. I figured it was water because it was really raininy out. Anyways today, same thing, butI look a little closer at it and it was coolant all over the damn place!

Would this be a blown coolant seal?

Pics up tonight when i get home from work

FYI, when my coolant seal went, i didn't really get any coolant under the hood, just boiling and lots of overflow as well as white smoke out the exhaust, lots. If you take the cap off the rad and turn it over, coolant will shoot +3 feet out the top as the combustion pressure goes straight into the cooling system, which could cause blown hoses.

Check the Heater hose, thats what blew on mine when I had symtoms as you describe.

Good luck~!

could be a possible bad upper rad cap or heater hose. Possibly even the throttle body coolant hose.

+1 on heater hose. I had a torn heater hose on the drivers side and it was just like you described. Just make sure you check everything before you assume things like a coolant seal.

With your car running open the heater cap and look to see if you have bubbles coming up, if I recall correctly that is a good sign that your coolant seal is gone. Search for coolant seal and Icemark he has posted on a few occasions the sure symptoms of a blown coolant seal.
